Pakistan PM says civil and military leadership revitalise economy at UN
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif told journalists in New York that Pakistan's civil and military leaders are working together to strengthen the national economy during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Shehbaz Sharif stated on Friday that the economy has stabilised and is moving toward growth. He noted that massive structural reforms including digitisation and e-governance have been undertaken. The prime minister also mentioned that agriculture, mining, and information technology are key areas for cooperation.

The leader said Pakistan is intensifying regional peace initiatives under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. He expressed strong support for Lebanon's territorial integrity while condemning external aggression. The Lebanese prime minister commended Pakistan's efforts to calm the situation in the region.
