Pakistan plans to privatise three DISCOs in first quarter of 2027

Work has begun on privatising Hyderabad and Sukkur power distribution companies with completion expected in the second quarter of 2027. The programme also includes Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Hazara distribution companies which will finish their process in the second half of 2027.
