Project aims to boost exports

The new industrial park will process marble and granite reserves found across Sindh and other parts of the country. Officials stated that modern industrial methods will be used to produce high-quality products for international markets. This shift allows the production of finished goods instead of exporting raw materials directly.

Land pricing and payment terms

The average price for land within the Marble City is set at approximately Rs25 million per acre. Investors unable to make a one-time payment will be offered the facility to pay in installments. The project aims to create new investment opportunities and generate employment for local residents.

Key figures attending ceremony

Special Assistant Qasim Naveed Qamar led the project on instructions from Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. Prominent industrialist Arif Habib and government officials attended the pre-launch event held at a local hotel. The formal inauguration is scheduled to be performed by Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
