Pakistan and China sign deal to open green channel for agricultural trade at Sost-Khunjerab border
Customs officials from Pakistan and China signed an online agreement Thursday in Islamabad to operationalize a green channel for agricultural products at the Sost-Khunjerab border.

Agreement details and scope
The pact allows eligible shipments of specific crops to receive priority processing during customs examinations. Both administrations will share risk alerts to improve coordination on cross-border trade management. Perishable goods will be handled quickly to prevent delays in their movement across the frontier.
Delegation composition
Syed Shakeel Shah led the Pakistani team which included representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and NAFSA. Ms Li Qingua headed the Chinese delegation representing Urumqi Customs and Tashkurgan Customs.
