OpenAI expands ChatGPT advertising to Pakistan and other global markets
OpenAI announced on Wednesday that it is launching ads for ChatGPT in 26 new countries, including Pakistan, to increase revenue.

Total ad reach grows significantly
The company stated this move brings the total number of markets to 89. This expansion follows earlier testing in the United States earlier this year. More than 100,000 advertisers have already run campaigns on the platform.
New regions join existing list
The update adds 14 Latin American nations alongside locations in Europe and Africa. Specific new markets include Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Nigeria, South Africa and Serbia. Ads will appear only on the Free and Go plans while subscriptions stay ad-free.
Access methods remain unchanged
Advertisers can reach these users through technology partners or via the Ads Manager. The company introduced AI-powered tools for advertisers in September of last year. Business-sponsored agents are being tested with select US advertisers at this time.
