Gold prices in Pakistan drop Rs800 per tola on Tuesday
Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs800 per tola on Tuesday according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
Local market rates adjust downward
The price of 24-karat gold per tola settled at Rs437,336 after the decline. A 10-gram bar of 24-karat gold sold for Rs374,945 following a drop of Rs686. Rates for 22-karat gold also decreased by Rs628 to reach Rs343,712 per 10 grams.
International and silver prices fall
The international rate of gold declined by eight dollars to reach $4,148 per ounce. Silver prices decreased by Rs20 to settle at Rs6,558 per tola in the local market. International silver prices also dropped by $0.20 to $60.80 per ounce.
