Gold prices in Pakistan drop Rs3,000 per tola amid global losses
Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs3,000 per tola on Thursday according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.

Local market rates adjust downward
The price of 24-karat gold per tola settled at Rs438,636 after the daily decline. A 10-gram piece of 24-karat gold sold for Rs376,059 following a drop of Rs2,572. Rates for 22-karat gold also fell by Rs2,358 to reach Rs344,733 per 10 grams.
International and silver prices fall
The international rate of gold decreased by $30 to reach $4,161 per ounce. Silver prices in the local market declined by Rs50 to settle at Rs6,528 per tola. The global price of silver also dropped by $0.50 to $60.50 per ounce.
