Finance Minister approves reconstitution of NICL Board of Directors
The Cabinet Committee on State-Owned Enterprises met in Islamabad on Saturday to approve the reconstitution of the National Insurance Company Limited board.

The committee considered a summary from the Commerce Division regarding the proposed changes to the board. Officials approved nominations for two independent directors and four ex-officio positions under the SOEs Act, 2023.

Senator Aurangzeb departed for Bangkok to lead Pakistan's delegation at the World Bank Group, IMF Annual Meetings. The scheduled event is set to take place from October 12 to 18, 2026.
