Federal Minister Aleem Khan says NHA revenue rose to Rs160 billion
Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan announced at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday that the National Highway Authority increased its annual revenue to Rs160 billion.

Revenue growth from own resources
The minister stated the authority raised funds from Rs66 billion previously. He confirmed projects are now being built using these self-generated resources instead of external borrowing.
Major road projects underway
Work is progressing on the expansion of the Faisalabad Motorway and the Lodhran Expressway. The N-25 Pakistan Expressway in Balochistan is also receiving attention from the ministry.
New route between cities
A proposed project aims to shorten the distance between Lahore and Islamabad from 380 kilometres to 280 kilometres. This initiative will reduce travel time for several towns along the corridor.
